Becomming a DJ

Slots are still available for station and event DJs. Training is provided to everyone, and no experience is required. If you are interested in becoming a DJ for the Wire, there are two easy ways to apply.

First, you can fill out the form located below. It will open up in your default email application. You can send this information to the station. We will then contact you once we receive your information.

Available Time Slots

If you are a new DJ, you are allotted 1 hour. If this is your second semester with the radio station, and you are doing a solo show, you can secure up to 1 hour and 30 minutes. If this is your second semester, and you are doing a show with another person, you can get up to 2 hours. Finally, if you have been with us for more than three semesters, you are allowed up to two hours for your show.
