Welcome to our blog! This blog posts announcements for the Canisius College radio station, The Wire. A variety of posts will be made throughout the semester, such as upcoming events hosted by the Wire and special guests on our DJ’s shows. Only board members and current DJs are allowed to post information to this blog.

If you are a current DJ, you can use this blog in several different ways. You can offer music suggestions and share events. To post information to this blog, you will need to obtain the log-in information from the current board members.

Keep in mind that anything you post will be deleted if deemed necessary. MP3′s are allowed, but it is the user’s responsibility to host the mp3 on their own server. MP3′s must not contain any vulgar language, and any that do will be deleted.

Local concerts and events can also be posted to the blog. If you have a band, and are playing a certain venue, then by all means advertise!

To keep everything organized, you are asked to assign categories to each post. If you are posting about an event, click on the category “events” in the control panel area, if you are suggesting new music, click on “DJ Suggestions,” etc.

If you’d like, our blog’s RSS feed will keep you informed whenever we post new content. Just click “subscribe” on the top right of this, or any, page. If you wish to subscribe, you will need to use a newsreader application. Modern browsers like FireFox, Safari, Camino, Opera, and Internet Explorer 7 all read and support RSS feeds.
